MICHAEL SASAKI

He had interests in becoming an actor at a young age, but fell in love with figure skating and decided to dedicate his time in become a top level competitor. 

At 14, Michael won the Junior Olympics in the Intermediate Level, and went on to compete in four national championships after that. He has performed in several Royal Caribbean Cruises ice shows, toured with Holiday on Ice, performed theme parks such as Knotts Berry Farm and Ocean Park Hong Kong. 

Michael now coaches at Toyota Sports Performance Center and teaches young skaters how to develop a positive mindset. 

When he is not on the ice, Michael is an actor and has appeared in many tv shows such as Cobra Kai, S.W.A.T., and Shameless. He is currently rehearsing for a lead role in an original play called “Masao and The Bronze Nightingale.” 

Michael dreams of a world where all people are respected for who they are and can all feel free to express themselves just the way they are.
